A very nice 48 key treble English Concertina by Lachenal.
It’s playing well and has particularly nice sounding reeds. It’s roughly in tune at A=440, but could definitely do with a tune to bring it up to scratch. Could be a good way of getting a playable concertina that, with a bit of money further down the line, could be really nice.
The bellows are in good condition but the bellows papers are modern and have not been printed very convincingly.
This is a commission sale, otherwise I’d get the tuning done myself. I’d estimate that the tuning would be about £250.
Comes in its original fitted wooden box.
