A lovely bass crumhorn by Eric Moulder. I think it is a fairly uncontraversial statement to say that Mr. Moulder is the most respected maker of renaissance woodwind instruments in this country, and rightly so.
The instrument is playing very nicely at A=440 and is in good structural condition. There are a few scratches here and there and some wear around the beak. It comes with a new reed by Lizzie Gutteridge, fitted onto an original staple.
The range is F2-A3.
