A very compact, German-made melodeon labelled ‘Collibri Luxus’, probably from the 1950s, similar in style the the Hohner Liliput and very well made. Two and a half rows on the right hand, eight bass on the left, tuned to the very pleasing and increasingly popular keys of Bb/Eb. It was once in ‘club’ tuning but has been declubbed on the right hand. The bellows are in very good condition and it is reasonably well in tune with a gentle tremolo, slightly less strident than on a typical german instrument. A charming little box.
