A nice example of this iconic melodeon, much loved by morris and country dance musicians.
Made in Germany, this instrument appears to have been much loved and has plenty of cosmetic wear and tear but is structurally very sound. The bellows are nicely airtight and have been retaped at some point, but could do with another retaping fairly soon. It’s pretty much in tune but again could be improved, and there is a cosmetic crack to one of the bass buttons which doesn’t affect playability.
I’ve deliberately not done anything to this box in an effort to keep the cost down but I could provide a quote for remedying any of the above.
Comes with an old and slightly ailing hard case.
