A nice renaissance alto flute by the late John Cousen (1926-2014).
It’s looks like it’s made from cherry and is in one piece. There has clearly been a shake in the timber and this has been filled in with resin (see photos).
It’s playing very nicely in G at A=440. If you’re used to playing more modern flutes, the small embouchure hole might take a bit of getting used to.
