Khaen-£60

Played in Laos and Northern Thailand, the khaen belongs to the same family of mouth blown free reed instruments as the Chinese sheng or Japanese sho and is prinicpally used to accompany the semi-improvised ‘mo lam’ singing typical of that region.

One reed sounds like it needs clearing, all others sounding cleanly.
