An excellent mid-range open-backed banjo from Grafton. This one came from the workshop of Andy Perkins who, before his recent retirement, was sending out really well put together banjos assembled from imported parts.
Geared tuners, double coordinator rods, 24 lugs and fitted with a basic piezo pickup and two railroad spikes (two and four frets up).
It plays really well and sounds great, with a really nice ‘cloppy’ sound, perfect for old time music.
Scale Length: 670mm (26.5″)
