A nice, handmade Appalachian Dulcimer. It’s a very pretty and lovingly made thing, using an interesting selection of timbers, having mahogany sidea and an ash back.
It has three strings rather than the more usual four (the fourth string doubles up the highest string so this can be played in exactly the same way).
The pegs are working but could be improved (happy to discuss the imrpovement).
