A very nice balalaika, the label reads ‘Made in USSR’ so it was presumably made for the export market. It’s very nicely built and was set up to take metal strings so I’ve kept it this way.
A bit tatty looking with lots of little knocks and scrapes but is structurally sound, plays really nicely and sounds great.
