A very nice Bulgarian gadulka.
The gadulka has several modern relatives including the cretan lyra and turkish kemençe, as well as the rebec of the middle ages.
Three playing strings and 10 sympathetic strings .
This one is playing well and sounds fantastic, with the sympathetic strings working just as they should.
No bow or case, but a short cello bow seems to work well.
