A cornett from the Christoher Monk workshop. Made in 2005, this example is made of resin and covered in very fine leather, with a mouthpiece turned from Siberian mammoth ivory. According to the previous owner, it is in G (A440) and having checked the measurements against those on the website of Christopher Monk Instruments (now run by Jeremy West), that would seem to be the case.
