A charming little gittern made in 1996 by one Ulrike Schmidt, according to the writing inside the instrument. One piece neck and body, hollowed out of what looks to be a piece of chestnut, with a spruce top, rosewood fingerboard and ebony tuning pegs.
Plays nicely and sounds very sweet. Currently tuned CGCGC
